London by students

I have asked my 6-7 year-old students to draw the London places they could remember after watching a video about this famous capital city (This is Britain, OUP).


This was one of the activities within the Social Science teaching unit called ‘My neighbourhood’. Students should learn the differences between a city and a town and recognize some cities.

My students are able to draw and recognize the London Eye, Big Ben, Tower of London, red buses, black taxis and Queen’s wards as you can see in the photos below.
